Holmesburg Baptist Christian Academy (H.B.C.A.) recognizes that each student is an individual.  The Academy desires to challenge all students to achieve their full potential academically.  Students are guided toward challenging high school studies, encouraged to become positive leaders, develop and live a Christian life style and understand their studies and life from a Biblical world-view.  In so doing, H.B.C.A. is committed to preparing each student for personal responsibility, employment, citizenship, and Christian service at home, in the church, the community and the world.  The students of H.B.C.A. are the future.

The Academy employs qualified and trained faculty administrators who serve as role models in their Christian walk.  Members of the H.B.C.A. staff continue to mature in both their professional life and their Christian faith.  The Academy addresses educational practices from a Christian viewpoint, and offers curriculum in which Biblical perspective is applied in every area of life.

The Academy views the education of the student as a partnership between the school and parents, realizing that the parent has the ultimate responsibility for the education of their child (Deuteronomy 6:7-8, Proverbs 22:6).  The Academy considers it a privilege to be used by God in the educational development of their students, God's children and function as an extension of the family.
